The power of words.
This carries on from my determination post, is really just an update.
First day back - goal setting time.
Last time with this class it was hard to get them to really set good goals for themselves. Most had goals like; getting better at maths, getting neater. which have a place but were not what I was aiming for. This time, after all my talk about determination and the wall displays I put up in holidays, they were right on the mark with their goals. They even came up with supports and barriers.
This all came from the word DETERMINATION, amazing what a well chosen word can do!
